California {Newport}

Well, in a few words, our California vacation was a big success! I can't even explain how nice it was to get away from work and obligations just to be with family.  I love going places with Sperry's, but I especially love it because there are never set plans that we have to follow. We just go to have a good time and decide what to do as we go.  I love it.  We got to do a lot and I'm so blessed to have such fantastic in-laws! Thank you for such a great vacation Mark and Lori!



Thursday was spent at Universal Studios.  I haven't been there for years and it was fun to get back and see how much they've changed since I was little.

This is what every sign at Universal contains....I didn't really follow the rules, this should not be posted on most of their rides. Don't worry, I didn't ride anything that would harm the child.

 Friday we decided to go to the taping of the Jay Leno show, something I have never had the opportunity to do before.  It ended up being a lot of fun! Pam from the office, and Jay Mohr were the guests for the night.  Jay Leno said something about Salt Lake City and naturally Lori and I hollered for the shout out, after the show Jay Mohr came over to meet us and let us know he was coming to SLC in June.  He stood and talked to us for a minute...super nice guy.

After the Leno show we drove up to see the Dodgers and Rockies play.  It was my first major league baseball game and I enjoyed it very much! I had a dodger dog, which isn't the best ball dog I've ever tasted, but it was a blast.  The Rockies lost terribly.  {I'm definitely pregnant in this picture}

Saturday was beautiful so we laid by the pool for a few hours and relaxed. Don't let this picture fool you, it was taken on a cloudy day.

We also drove down to Dana point and took a little hike out to a somewhat hidden cave.  Mark always knows the cool places to hike to.  I love the beach!!! This was a good day.

I can't wait for 5 o' clock to roll around and I will be FREE for the rest of the work week. Tomorrow the Sperrys are packing up to take a vacay, CALIFORNIA here we come!!

The little guy!

I'm about to be outnumbered.... Little baby is a BOY! We're so happy and SO excited for him to make his big debut. 

 I have to be completely honest, when the ultrasound technician told us that the child has outdoor plumbing I was shocked! All this time I've been secretly crossing my fingers for a girl, so to hear we are having a little guy was surprising to say the least.  All I needed was about 30 minutes to take it all in, and now I can't even explain how thrilled and excited I am to be the mother of a little boy! All I can think about is this baby, we can't wait.  Jordan is naturally ecstatic to have a son to teach all the good stuff to, he's going to make the BEST dad, I'm excited to see him in action.  Here's some proof of the news...

Just a complaint

I don't want to complain....but I'm going to.  These  headaches I get almost everyday due to carrying  child are no good.  I just want to close my eyes and lay on the floor, too bad my boss wouldn't approve of that.

{Myler} Baby update

It's been a busy baby day ! Melissa had her 20 week appointment and found out she will be having another little GIRL!! Allison broke the news that she is  pregnant and due right around December 25th, and I had my 15 week appointment! In case you didn't catch that let me help you, ALL three Myler girls are PREGO! Watch out, world.
We got to hear baby Sperry's heartbeat again and Dr. Savage let us know that all my labs came back normal and things look good. I can't get over how much I love hearing baby's little heart....so I recorded it this time! In case you're wondering, I've already listened to it at least 10 times and my appointment was only 2 hours ago. Obsessed.  Well, Happy Tuesday!

Lets talk cravings...

Not weird food cravings, all I'm craving is summer!!! I want to be outside, in warm weather. What I would give to be doing any of the follwing:

Jordan and I are thrilled to announce that WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!! That's right, this girl is PREGNANT!   I can't even describe how happy and excited we are to bring a child into this world.  It's terrifying, but I think we are actually ready for this. 

Other than a lot of sick days, things have been great up until now.  We heard our little pumpkin's heartbeat on March 27th and it was a strong 169 beats per minute, up to this point in my life there has been no sweeter sound.  Anyway....We're excited, and can't wait for October to roll around!

Baby Sperry is about the size of a lemon and growing strong :)
